Services

Good Pets offers a variety of individual training sessions and packages to fit your needs. 

 

Maybe you have a brand new puppy who is completely new to learning, or you acquired your adolescent dog during the pandemic and missed out on socialization.  Perhaps you have an adult or senior dog who needs some basic manners refreshers or needs to brush up on some forgotten skills.  

 

Regardless of your dog's age, temperament or prior training, we're going to help you develop the best relationship possible with your furry best friend.

Let's start with a FREE 15-minute phone consultation to get a brief history and overview.

From there we'll determine the best way to move ahead.

Our initial consultation is a meet-and-greet, where we will review your intake form, talk in detail about your dog's history and address any specific concerns.  This is also an opportunity to observe your dog in person, and do some basic introductory training.

​

At this consultation, we can discuss our future training plan and schedule any further sessions, depending on your individual needs.

Individual Training Sessions

Individual training sessions are booked one session at a time, on an as-needed basis. 

Each session is 60 minutes.

​

After the initial consultation, these sessions will can be an overview of 3-4 skills, or we can focus on one particular skill or training issue, depending on your individual needs.

​

Training takes place in your home and is for you as much as it is for your pup.  We'll take the care to teach you how to work on behaviors so that you can practice with your dog and continue to nurture a meaningful relationship together.

$125 per session*

Training Packages

Training packages include 4 sessions, usually scheduled once a week.  This is ideal for puppies and dogs who are learning basic manners and have several new skills to acquire.

 

Each week we will add some new skills for you to practice with your dog, and we'll also review previous skills. This gives your pup the best foundation for retaining their new behaviors.

​

You will attend these sessions with your dog and we will help you learn how to perfect your skills so you can incorporate training and reinforcement into your every day life.

Enrichment Walks

Puppies need a lot of socialization in their first 6 months.  This includes not only play and interaction with other dogs*, but socialization to their environment.

​

This 60-minute walk will include opportunities for your pup to practice polite behavior while they put their paws on new surfaces, sniff new things, and explore nearby environments.

​

You can relax while we take over the leash and introduce your pup to a whole new world of experiences.

​

*This walk does NOT include play with other dogs.

$75 per walk*

*Prices subject to change. 

**Multiple session packages must be paid in full at first session.
